What is Spence®?
Spence® is our proprietary simulation software, purpose-built for modeling and steady-state simulation of thermodynamic processes in thermal power plants. It provides detailed and accurate mass and energy balance calculations across a wide range of plant configurations.
Originally developed in the late 1980s, Spence has continually evolved to incorporate the latest advancements in power generation technology. Today, it supports modern systems including carbon capture processes, integrated coal gasification, and hybrid power plants with integrated solar components, ensuring it remains at the cutting edge of process simulation.
